About Us

When I'm asked what's it like owning a Hungarian Vizsla my normal reply is 'easier than a Weimaraner', but joking aside they match in with our lifestyle. They are (like all gundogs) energetic and inquisitive animals who like human contact. Our dogs all have Scottish names as one half of our family live North of the border.

Silvestre Click My Heels with Carnlocahan

Lorn is our oldest Vizsla, bred by our dear friends Rachel and Darryl Savage of Silvestre Gun Dogs,she is a very calm and loving girl.



Carnlochan Cites of Gold

Islay is one of Lorn's daughters. She is very energetic and loving, and considers herself a lap dog.



Carnlochan Sirocco

Jura is the third generation we own and is one of Islay's daughters, she is very close to her mother and loves to run around our garden playing with her mother.



Silvestre Colorado

Oban, is our speical boy, he is a Weimaraner and enjoys being bossed about by our Vizsla girls. but still gets to pick the best located dog bed in the house as they repect his wishes as he is 9 years of age.
